The new iPod touch will be available in October 2012 through the Apple Online Store, Apple's retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers. Starbucks Tokyo

Wah, Starbucks yang ada di Jepang ini memang beda dengan Starbucks lainnya! Coba liat dari depannya, desain tempatnya unik banget, dan ini adalah hasil karya dari Kengo Kuma and Associates. Mereka bilang, project terbaru ini mengusung konsep ‘contemporary chicness’, dan kita bisa merasakan suasana yang berbeda lho ketika singgah ke Starbucks yang berada di daerah Fukuoka, Tokyo. Uniknya, kenapa Starbucks ini dibuat berbeda dengan Starbucks lainnya? Yup, dikarenakan lokasinya yang memang terletak dekat kuil Shinto, yaitu salah satu kuil paling besar di Jepang (yang berada di area Dazaifu Tenman-g?).

Dan agar terlihat harmonis dengan kuil yang dikunjungi 2 juta pengunjung setiap tahunnya, dibuatlah Starbucks dengan wood style, yang akan membuat kita serasa berada di alam terbuka. Tebak? Bangunan ini terdiri dari 2000 balok kayu yang menutupi hampir seluruh dinding dan langit-langitnya. Menariknya lagi, anatomi kayu diseluruh bangunan ini bisa di daur ulang! Dan Kuma juga bilang, karena bisa di daur ulang, bangunan ini bisa dibongkar kapan aja dengan mudah, dan dipindahkan ke lokasi yang lain. Hmm, looks like a great place to enjoy a Mocha Frappuccino!

Taylor Swift—Begin Again

"Begin Again" is a song recorded by American recording artist Taylor Swift. It was written by Swift. Initially released as a promotional single on September 25, 2012 by Big Machine Records, the song will serve as the second single from Swift's fourth studio album Red (2012) on October 1, 2012.

Swift told that the song is "about when you've gotten through a really bad relationship and you finally dust yourself off and go on that first date after a horrible breakup, and the vulnerability that goes along with all that". She previewed it on Good Morning America on September 24, 2012, while it was released digitally on iTunes the next day, September 25. The song serves as a promotional single, the first of four tracks to be released during the four weeks preceding the release of Red. It was later announced that the song would be the second single from Red.

One Direction—Live While We're Young

"Live While We're Young" is a song by British-Irish boy band One Direction, from their upcoming second studio album Take Me Home (2012). Written by Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha and produced by Yacoub and Falk, it was released as the lead single by Syco Records on 28 September 2012. The track is an energetic pop rock song which includes elements of dance pop and bubblegum pop. It encompasses of vocal harmonies, hand claps, prominent electric guitar riffs, and synthesizer "bursts". The song's lyrics speak of living life in the moment.

The song received mostly positive reviews from music critics. While it faced criticism for its opening guitar riff baring similarities with The Clash's 1982 single "Should I Stay or Should I Go", critics who favored the song cited its omnipresence and resemblance of happiness. A commercial success, the song became a top ten hit in fifteen countries, and reached the summit of the charts in Ireland and New Zealand. In the United States, "Live While We're Young" debuted at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, sold 341,000 downloads in its first week, and bowed at number one on the Digital Songs chart. Its debut marks the highest bow by a British group and the second-highest debut among all UK acts, outpaced only by Elton John's number one arrival with "Candle in the Wind 1997". An accompanying music video officially premiered on 20 September 2012, in response to an unauthorized internet leak. Upon release, it broke the Vevo record for having the most views in a 24-hour period with 8.24 million, beating the previous record which had been set by Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" (8.00 million). "This Kiss" is a song by Canadian recording artist Carly Rae Jepsen, released as the third single from Kiss. It was written by Jepsen, Matthew Koma, Kelly Covell and RedFoo of LMFAO, and produced by Koma. The song will impact mainstream radios October 9, 2012, and will be used to promote the 2012 American teen comedy film, Fun Size.

Life and Faith

There's no guarantee life will always be easy. There are always challenges, problems, and difficulties. Things don't always go the way you plan. Sometimes it gets you down, but you can always find your way to get up again. That's just life.

LOL (Laugh Out Load)

In a world connected by Facebook and other social networks, Lola Williams and her friends navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents. When Lola's mom, Anne, "accidentally" reads her teenage daughter's racy journal, she realizes just how wide their communication gap has grown.

Lola has an ordinary life, with a boyfriend, Chad. When they return to school, Lola discovers that Chad has cheated on her over the summer. Lola lies about meeting someone else and the two break up. Lola has lifelong friends in Emily, Janice and Kyle. Kyle and his band want to compete in the battle of the bands. When Kyle and Lola realize the feelings they have for each other they pursue a relationship. To make matters more complicated with Chad and Kyle being friends and the high school 'post it note' Ashley wants to be with Kyle. When Lola looks for Kyle she is told he is in the bathroom but when she overhears two people in the toilets together she assumes it is Kyle and Ashley from seeing a purse on the floor the same as Ashley's. Lola confronts Ashley who does not deny it. A huge fight breaks out where Lola accuses Kyle of cheating like Chad did. Kyle is astonished that she thinks that this would happen, causing them to break up. Kyle's father dislikes music and feels that Kyle's love for music is in the way of his school work, so he constantly tries to stop him from playing.

Anne lets Lola go to Paris, where all her friends, including Kyle and Emily, will be staying with French families. Lola and Emily stay with a family who worship medieval culture. Kyle tells the family that Lola is his cousin and the two spend the night together. When they all get home, Lola sticks up for Ashley when Chad calls her a ho. Ashley thanks her for this and it seems they could be friends again in the future. Anne finds her diary and finds out Lola has slept with Kyle and done drugs. Later, she tells Lola's father and confronts Lola. Feeling betrayed and angry, Lola moves in with her dad. Eventually, Lola and Anne reconcile and she moves back in with her. Kyle's band wins Battle of the Bands with his father's support. Kyle and Lola stay together and Ashley is with Chad. The film ends with Anne and Lola laughing out loud.

Wow, udah kebayang deh gimana serunya jalanan di Inggris yang dipenuhi para street styler, begitu London Fashion Week digelar. Dan nggak cuma para street styler yang sibuk ‘dikejar’ para fotografer, Alexa Chung, Poppy Delevingne, Jade Williams, sampai Daisy Lowe pun sibuk ‘beredar’ di jalanan Inggris selama event berlangsung.

Pasta La Vista

Italia memang dikenal sebagai homeland dari makanan super yummy; pasta, macaroni dan spaghetti. Saking istimewanya, Italia bahkan bisa dibilang sebagai satu-satunya negara di dunia yang memiliki ratusan jenis produk macaroni, loh. Gue yakin kamu pasti suka banget kan sama makanan ini? 

Nah, ngomong-ngomong soal pasta,  Gue baru nemuin packaging pasta super lucu, yaitu Pasta La Vista, brand yang berasal dari Italia. FYI, pasta La Vista adalah handmade products yang diproduksi memakai resep tradisional Italia dengan kebersihan dan kualitas yang tinggi. Waktu ngeliat kemasannya,  Gue suka banget sama idenya Andrew Gorkovenko, seorang advertising designer asal Moscow yang menciptakan packaging ini. Ada 4 karakter Chef dengan warna kotak yang berbeda-beda, mulai dari warna biru, merah, hijau, dan orange. Nah, 4 karakter Chef tersebut juga punya nama loh, yaitu Mario, Francesco, Giovanni dan Francesca. Cute, huh? Dan untuk melihat jenis pastanya, coba tebak gimana caranya? Kamu bisa lihat dari bentuk rambut Chef-nya. Kreatif banget deh nih kemasan!

Concept piece yang dibuat oleh desainer asal Kroasia, yaitu Mihael Miklošic ini lucu banget! Guess what, Mihael Miklošic makes it easy to be a hipster or just look like one with his “Hipster Starter Kit”, hehe.. Nah, kotak ini udah berisi berbagai macam barang, mulai dari kacamata, kaset yang berisi rekaman berbagai lagu, 6 tongkat mustaches, dan satu buku owner’s manual. Sayangnya, Hipster Starter Kit ini tidak untuk dijual, tapi idenya boleh juga ya?

Change the perspective!

One of people who inspire me the most is Nick Vujicic. I believe many of you know about this man. If you don't, well, he's a man with no arms and no legs. Although he has this disability, he still lives his life to the fullest. He swims. He surfs. He married. He does whatever he wants. Even he inspires many people around the world with great stories about his amazing life. Isn't he really a huge inspiration?

I'm sure you know what I'm gonna write here. Many things we can learn from him, like being thankful, enjoying life, creating your happiness, or living the life you want no matter what the circumstance is. But I want to talk about his great life from a little bit different thing.

He inspired me in one thing when I read his book. If there's one thing I can learn from him, it's that you can't always change your problems, but you can always change the way you see it.

You can't always change your problems - He's born without arms and legs. Well, imagine if he had a faith like "Someday I'll have two arms and two legs. It will grow from the inside of my body. I believe that." It seems like a good attitude, an optimistic thing, but it's not right. If he set his mind like that, he would never live his life like now, because he would always look for something that doesn't exist, and he would just be frustrated. That solution will never come. He's born with no arms and legs. That's it. But wait, it doesn't mean there's no hope. That solution doesn't exist, but it doesn't mean there's no right solution.

You can always change the way you see it - First thing first, he has to accept what happens in his life. Be grateful though he's not as "lucky" as others. Second, change the perspective! It's about the way you see it. Take something good from your challenges. See your problems as opportunities. Take a chance to change your weaknesses into something powerful. Just like Nick, he learned to swim without arms and legs instead of saying "I will never be able to swim like others, because I have no arms and legs".

Don't let your life be controlled by the circumstance. You're the one who should control your life, no matter what the circumstance is.

I don't say that you can always control your circumstance. Sometimes it's just far from what you expect it would be, but you can still design your own life with whatever life throws at you.

You can still change bad things into good things. It's an opportunity to change the worst into the best. Just set it right. It's not easy. Sometimes it takes a long process and time, but it can really happen. Even when the situation is bad, life can still be great when you live it right and see it from the right perspective.
