The Clique

Today, I watch a movie that I borrowed from my friend. Actually, I am proposing to buy the film. But, he said that the film is really "crunchy", mean boring. Okay, that's his opinion. Is another opinion. I think this film is ah-mazing. Hmm... perhaps a bit exaggerated if I say ah-mazing. But, like that.

Theme of friendship. I really love it with anything that smells of friendship.

Anyway, you should watch the movie. Following review of the film.

The film mainly follows the first novel in this series by Lisi Harrison. The books lead the viewer through the middle school lives of five girls: Massie Block, Dylan Marvil, Kristen Gregory, Alicia Rivera, and Claire Lyons. The girls, besides Claire, belong to the most popular group at their private school Octavian Country Day (OCD) called the Pretty Committee.

Claire moved from Orlando, Florida into Massie’s guest house and is not accepted into the exclusive club. On her first day, she bumps into Chris Abeley, who is Massie’s crush, and talks with Chris which makes Massie jealous and Massie begins to dislike Claire more, and Alicia pranks Claire by putting red paint on her pants making the art teacher and nurse think she got her period.

Claire’s first friend is who she meets at lunch, Layne Abeley, a unique girl who doesn’t care what anybody thinks, has a very strange sense of style, food obsessions, and is later found out to be the sister of Chris Abeley. Claire goes to drastic measures to get on The Pretty Committee’s good side, even hacking into Massie’s computer and telling Massie’s friends misleading information. This causes Massie’s friends to turn against her, until Claire’s misdeeds are found out, and Massie is restored as the Pretty Committee’s leader.

The cynical Massie, however, will not just forgive and forget. She continues to behave especially rudely to Claire, as punishment for depriving her of her friends for a few days, and even throws an egg at her, much to the Pretty Committee’s vindictive delight. Throughout the film, it is well known that Massie has a crush on Chris, whom she met because he rode his horse on a private trail she happened to be on as well.

The movie closes at an auction held at Massie’s house to raise money for scholarships for the school. As the day of the auction is Chris’ birthday, Massie plans to jump out of a cake, and surprise him, but Claire finds out about Massie’s idea, and that Chris has a girlfriend. Claire’s kinder side takes charge; she prevents Massie from jumping out of the cake before any incident and saving Massie from public embarrassment. The last scene shows Massie writing her state of the union blog. She puts Claire in the “Out” like she did in the beginning of the film but also puts her in the “In”. which implies that Claire has hope of getting into the Pretty Committee.

Alice in Wonderland

At a party in a Victorian estate, 19-year-old Alice Kingsley follows a white rabbit through a maze, only to later tumble down a rabbit hole into Wonderland, a place she has visited ten years before, yet doesn’t remember. In Wonderland, she reunites with her childhood friends, including the Mad Hatter, who explains to Alice that they need her help in overthrowing the Red Queen, who has assumed control of all Wonderland. Alice then embarks on an adventure of self discovery and to save Wonderland from both the Jabberwocky and the Red Queen’s reign of terror.

The Youngest Designer, Cecilia Cassini!

Who says the young age really, can not come to contribute to world fashion. Hehe ... then you have an acquaintance with someone this one. And please meet, Cecilia Cassini's new 10-year-old.
Cecilia admitted became interested in the same fashion since his grandmother gave him the gift of sewing machines when birthday-6! Well, from there it was really the same seneng Cecilia whose name sewing and designing clothes. In fact, Cecilia diligent banget loh go much the same courses related fashion world! "I have known that I wanted to be a fashion designer from the second I was born", says Cecilia.

The youngest designer from California was also really know what kind of clothes so favorite children's age he was, like ornaments called a shiny, beads, ribbons of light, and a sweet little pocket. He exclaimed, when busy designing a variety of clothes, Cecilia inspired by fashion magazines, but most importantly, Cecilia admit more often ngikutin heart desires. "I am definitely the belle of the ball every day at my school, what other girls would wear to a party is what I wear to school. I do not want to be like everybody else, I want to be me and let my personality come out", added Cecilia. Best of Cecilia've also launched a line is given the name "Cecilia by Cecilia Cassini", and can be found at the Tough Cookie's London (children's boutique). Wow, two thumps up for Cecilia and we will be looking for your designs on the red carpet! Hehe...

Waterfall Hotel

China apparently did not ever stop to create something new that can get people to come there. It's stunning concept designs inspired by the natural water, so there is a hotel being built in the valley or ravine with a depth of about 100 meters. Is not this spectacular?

Here the guests will enjoy a break behind the waterfall with no water sounds extraordinary sensation. The Songjiang district is a natural beauty spot close to Shanghai and an increasingly popular weekend and holiday destination. Hotel was built in the Songjiang district (near Shanghai, China) will have a capacity of 400 rooms and conference rooms that can fit 1,000 people! Not to mention several restaurants, cafes, sports facilities, and (this is the coolest!) Its public spaces are under the water surface. And a giant aquarium that can be enjoyed through a restaurant with a depth of about 10 meters! With such a cool looking site, the hotel will feature amongst other things: bungee jumping. OMG!
